Healthy Outlook Newsletters

The challenge: Share health tips, hospital news, and patient stories with a broad community audience in a format that feels approachable, trustworthy, and easy to navigate.
My solution: I design Healthy Outlook, a quarterly newsletter mailed to more than 140,000 households. Each issue brings together feature articles, service highlights, and patient resources in a clean, photo-driven layout. Strong grids, consistent typography, and thoughtful use of imagery keep the content engaging and on-brand. The publication earned a 2024 Aster Gold Award for External Newsletter Series, recognizing excellence in healthcare communication and design.
Annual Reports (2018–2021)

For United Way’s CORE initiative, I led design and production of four annual reports, evolving the brand’s visual language to reflect the organization’s deeper focus on community collaboration and addressing root causes of need. Each edition refined the color palette, typography, and layout systems—balancing data visualization with human storytelling—to create a consistent, trusted voice across print and digital platforms. The series showcases how thoughtful iteration can strengthen a brand’s identity while keeping its message fresh and relevant year after year.
