IBEW 332 Website

The challenge:
IBEW Local 332 needed to replace an unreliable WordPress website that had become difficult to maintain and prone to breaking. With more than 30 pages of content serving members, contractors and prospective electricians, they needed a stable, easy-to-manage replacement—and they needed it launched in just one month.
My solution:
I rebuilt the site in Wix, working closely with the communications lead to reorganize and improve a large volume of existing content so information was easier to find and the site easier to navigate. I refined the visual system for the new platform, created consistent, reusable page layouts, incorporated frequently used member resources and dynamic content, and set the site up so staff could confidently manage routine updates themselves. The result is a more reliable, organized website that is easier for both Local 332 and its users to work with.
Roslyn Grocery Website

The challenge:
As the only grocery store in town, the locally rooted, community-minded Roslyn Grocery had never needed a website. But an expansion into Suncadia Resort introduced the longtime local business to a new audience, while a growing schedule of classes and private events created new reasons for customers to connect with them online. They needed a brand-new site—and they needed it ready to launch in just three weeks.
My solution:
I worked with the client to prioritize the most important content and functionality for launch, then developed the site in phases so they could get online quickly without rushing every piece at once. The first phase introduced the business and its new location, promoted classes and events, and created a flexible structure that could expand as additional content was ready. I also built the site to be straightforward for staff to update themselves as offerings, events and information change over time.
